This is my first year at Richwood Middle school.  I am excited to begin the school year.  This is my second year with Ouachita Parish.  I was with Riser Middle school Last year.  I am teaching Math Lab Grade 7 this year.  Last year I taught keyboarding and Health.  

I started teaching as a permanent sub in Bossier Parish in 2012.  I have taught various subjects including IBCA, BCA, Principles of Business, Journey to Careers, Keyboarding, Psychology, Sociology, Fine Arts Servey, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Earth Science, Foundations of Mathematics, Financial Math, and Health.

I have real world experiences as teaching was not my first choice.  I have worked at Lowe’s, State Farm, Wolf Gang Puck’s restaurants, Thurman Food Factory, Ace Hardware.

I am married to a great woman, whom also teaches at Riser Middle School.  We got married in 2001.  We have one child who is 5.  We are blessed to have this one.  She attends an elementary school in the parish.  We have 2 kittens as pets, but soon will have horses, dairy cows, goats, chickens and many more farm animals.

I have many hobbies.  My wife and I make lots of our own foods that we sell at Farmer’s Markets across North Louisiana.  

I also have a direct sales business that keeps me plenty of busy.  From markets to parties.  If I am not at school or a market, you will find me with my family.
